From much below normal to much above seasonal normal streamflows in a weekend

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitoring sites in Ohio
Water levels are refreshed statewide after the weekend rains. The streamflow dashboard has done a turnabout, from much below normal to much above seasonal normal over the weekend. Great Miami and Scioto River basins are signalling extreme high flows. No active flooding as of this report, five stations reporting 99th percentile, no low flows.

Seven-day average streamflows are calculated to paint the state map with drought ratings. The current streamflow readings have not had time to knock back the severe drought rating hanging on Wills Creek watershed in Guernsey County and neighboring Wheeling Creek watershed, Belmont, Harrison and Jefferson Counties. St Josephs River watershed has been downgraded from moderate drought to match the rest of the Lake Erie west watersheds at below normal, today excluding Blanchard, Sandusky and Huron-Vermilion River watersheds, these have recovered from drought, no longer rated below normal. Muskingum River basin has contributed the Mohican River watershed to the drought map, below normal, joining up with Little Muskingum and Hocking River watersheds, still below normal. Ohio River minor tributaries Little Beaver Creek and Shade River watersheds are joined by Raccoon-Symmes, below normal.

Overcast at Burke Lakefront Airport, 43 degrees, almost at the expected high 45 for Monday. NWS Cleveland local forecast center forecasting wind gusting to 33 mph today, the low down to 36 tonight. Partly cloudy, 46 at Airborne Airpark Airport, NWS Wilmington calling for a high 49 with partly sunny skies, showers tonight after 4am, up to a quarter inch possible.
